Please post pics of your aftermarket steering wheel cover
Hi all,
My 1998 Ltd 4Runner's steering wheel has reached the end of its life. (Actually beyond end of life- it's looking pretty shabby) For those of you that replaced your OEM steering wheel cover with something else, please post a picture. I'm particularly interested in Wheelskins or the group buy that bamachem coordinated. I'm tempted to toy with tennis grips... thanks! |
Here is my steering wheel cover...

Is this next on your "mod" list Ian?

Yeah that is pretty damn cool Jethro... might have to get it... well see I get a d/c at Cabela's because I work there lol so I can get some cool stuff for pretty cheap... they have some nice seatcovers and stuff like that... some cool camo ones too :bigok:
This might be next too... http://a1460.g.akamai.net/f/1460/133...521033sq03.jpg Ian |

I definitely second the Wheelskins 2-tone one. I've had lots of compliments on it and have recommended it to others.

Bamachem had a group buy going on a while back for actual replacement steering wheel leathers for 3rd gens/taco's. Might look for that thread or PM him, as I'm not sure how it turned out..but seemed to be the best approach.
I need to do it also, mine's wearing pretty badly at 11 o'clock. |
yuh they are cheap, those little rubber things break off pretty easy. but by the time it gets worn out comepletely i'll be bored of it anyways.
