pics of your truck w/bushwacker flares painted and unpainted?

Since Im going to have to wait a while for my flares to come in, I was wondering if any of you guys with the Bushwacker extenda flares had pics of them on your truck? I just got my 97 desert dune only a couple of months ago and am wondering what it will look like with them on and wether or not I should get them painted to match the truck. I have a guy that will paint them for $100, does that sound reasonable for those of you who've had theirs painted?

Thanks guys!

I have a Cayenne red Runner and I have some Bushwackers that are being painted this week but they'll still be black but I wanted them glossy since there are a ton of Runners with the stock flat black flares and wanted to be a little different.

I know some members say they'll show scratches and such but I don't hear the guys with stock painted flares complain much plus my Runner is a daily driver and I want to look good when on pavement.

I'll see if I can borrow a digi and post some pics as soon as they are on.

I thought about painting mine... not! I think they look just fine, the running boards are a whole other thing. Check out pics 8 and 10 just something about black on black Sweeeeeet.

Looks nice! Did you get the bushwacker boots to tie the flares in with the running board or are those the original running board boots?

Those are the OEM running boards, I just did a little creative sculpting with a Rotzip to the plastic end boots. So now the running boards blend into the bushwackers. Just an FYI had to make a trip to the junkyard cause I messed the first one up a bit, also you'll need to screw them to the running board because the pin doesn't hold them on as well after the mod.

Matte Finish - Unpainted. I *might* paint them this summer. I've always liked how Lee's look painted

As many scratches my BW's have on them I cant see painting them. Seems like a waste of money. I would imagine that is why they call them Bush Wackers but thats just my look at it. lol
