Painted Rims, and Bumper Black

Well I haven't done a mod since my synthetic line, which was a LOOOONG time ago. I thought I was pretty much done with the rig, but I decided I would paint the rims and bumper, and get rid of that chrome!

BEFORE

AFTER

I'm really pleased how this turned out!

Welcome to the darkside! Looks great. It will look even better once the shine of the newly-painted black wheels starts to go away, at least IMO.

I bet if you spraypaint your tires it will look like 234234563245 times cooler!

Looks great, I really like the look of black wheels. Again, welcome to the darkside.

Paint or powdercoat? What's the best way to do rims? I would love black rims. They'll match front/rear/sliders when the money tree blosums.

Thanks guys! I really like how it looks.

Christian, it was supposed to be a flat black paint, but the flash made it look shinier I think. It looks pretty flat in the sunlight!

I photoshopped the flares, and they didn't quite look right being black, so they are gonna stay gray. for now anyways.

Thanks for the compliments!! It's like a new truck! I drove around today just to drive it!!haha!

yeah I did, I didn't tape it off, or prep the bumper. That was more from boredom of my rig, and I wanted to see how good the black looked. After I wash her, I will sand it down, and prep, and repaint.

Someone asked about the rims before, I used Duplicolor flat black wheel paint.
