Painted or Chrome

I'm replacing some body parts on my car, namely the front bumper and parts of the rear bumper. I am thinking of going painted or maybe just leaving them black, but pretty much set on trying to remove all the chrome. I was just wonder if the chrome was an option in 94 and if so will the painted parts fit right? I know the non SR5 that year had a different headlight setup so I am just worried about the fitment of the painted pieces, including the grill. I plan on replacing the front and rear bumpers, grill, running boards (probably aftermarket), fender flares (also aftermarket) , door handles, window trim, pretty much everything chrome. Will I run into any fitment issues? Sorry I rambled.

Does everyone love the chrome that much?

im a chrome lover. i wish my truck had more chrome! i think its very distinctive.. i mean, what other cars / trucks out there have chrome anymore?

it doesnt show scratches, it looks cleaner and is easy to maintain. i love my bumpers.

in the future, i want to get some custom chrome strips for the lower part of my doors and maybe chrome door handles.

Christian,

Oh man, blast from the past! My mom had chrome feelers on her Buick in the early 80s. Those things turned into chrome nubs after a year or two. The funniest thing.

So they should fit the same? Also when its says painted does that mean painted black or that the piece is paintable?

If it says "painted" then its past tense, so it better be painted when it gets to you. If it says "paintable" - well, you know what that means.

I would definetly clarify.
