I did search and found that most prefer the Denso Brand coils.

I've got a 2000 4runner v6

Anyone have any experience with a Borge warner/Intermotor brand ignition coil? I did a search and it didn't come up with this brand.

Denso are $125 here in Ontario and that is with a 10% discount.

I have someone going to the states this week and can get me a Borge Warner coil for 71$ and have it back to me by Saturday.

I could order a Denso for the same amount but likely not get it in time and shipping across the boarder is such a PITA.

So.. any opions?

Just bite the bullet and pay the 125$ at the Stealer? (I have not found a source for Denso other than the dealer, and the local wrecking yard has no 4runners or Tacomas)

OEM from the dealer...Denso.

Toyota's ignition systems work best on OEM parts...

Bite the bullet and pay for it once or pay for it twice later on...

shipping to n0m 1a0 (random ontario postal code, since i dont know yours) is about 30 usd.

still under a hundred. just have to wait or cough the 125 up.
