Ok, I am lifted...

Ok, I am lifted...
Finally got my lift on Friday afternoon. Managed the whole job in around 4 hours although I did cheat by putting the Bilsteins on last weekend.
My setup is Cornfed/Bilstein front and Downey/Bilstein rear.
I also added some Schaeffer special rear bump stops.
I am getting a hair under 2" in front and around 2.25" in back.
Install of the Downeys is very straight forward including relocating the e-brake cable bracket. Front was a pain as compressing the springs enough to add the spacer WITHOUT air tools was a massive upper body workout !
Ride is very reasonable , if not downright plush. The rear is huge improvement. I got full rear wheel stuff in the ditch outside my house and those new bumpstops are very smooth. Feels like the way it should have come from the factory.
The only negatives so far...a little side to side sway on certain bumps and some vibration which should be taken care of of with this mornings allignment. The camber looked a long way off in front.
All in all, a good/.great mod that will be complete with the 32's next month and yes...I know, pictures required.
The digicam was loaned to a very cute 25 yr old who wanted it for the weekend....if you have the same mind I do, here is hoping she leaves a few images in memory

Dave, that sounds like a great setup.
Exactly how I'd lift a 3rd gen after reading up on them lately.
Now if I were to put a bumper and winch on though, then I'd do the setup in front like Steve has with the SAW coil overs.
But if you don't plan on doing that for awhile, your setup sounds like it's just the ticket.
Good luck on the digicam
