I don't care what anyone says, I know that FIPK worked. Once I put my supercharger back in, and get the fuel mods done, I'm going to stick it back in for street use anyway. Just to see if it does anything more.

ok here is the list of things I've come up with so far that I need to get for the install next weekend.

83 mm Hole saw
6 mm tap set.
thick masking tape
02 safe sealant
touch up paint

I went to home depot today and the don't have a tap set. Any idea where? Or should I just try Lowe's? Is there anything else I need to get? Please let me know. thanks

On my 92, the part that connected right at the aircleaner had ametal bracket that you had to tap a hole in the top to allow the bracket to bolt onto the connector that goes into the aircleaner.. If you do need it, mose hardware stores will have it.. you can do 1/4-20 if you buy a bolt too..

Also, but a can of rubberized undeercoating and bury the back side of the fender when done.. Cover the cut hole, the nuts and what not..

ok snorkel is here!!! Ripped open, the box, and there was the cardboard flappy thing tapped to the inside, ripped it off, tossed it to the side, and pulled out the snorkel. Cool!! pulled out the rest of the crap, and sat down and read the directions. In there said something about a template. Wheres the template? Oh ˟˟˟˟!! that was the cardboard flappy thing tapped to the inside. Got it back .... Hey where is the "big hole"? I see the four little holes I have to drill. But where is the big hole? I snapped a pic of everything inside the box, the template is there, you guys tell me. In the mean time I gotta go pick up some silicone (o2 safe). Be back in 30 min.
thanks guys

Never mind, I figured it out. The fourth little hole is a pilot hole for the hole saw.

I can feel that my balls are bigger.

I just cut the big hole. The little ones weren't too bad. I dry fit it up and it looks good, black snorkel on a black runner. Now I have to go do the A-pillar.

Thank God I practiced cutting the big one on a piece of plywood before I did it on the metal. I learned really quickly not to apply pressure, otherwise the drill jerks like crazy. So I just let the blades cut into the metal nice and easy. Oh and thanks Lee for telling me to be perpendicular to the ground and not with the fender, I can see how the angle would have been off.

ok back to work now.

Hey, I almost forgot.. If you go to a hardware store, you can buy round rubber well nut inserts.. These work so much better than those square plastic licence plate ones they give you.. I also bought matching thread stainless steel pan screws and washers.. This will save you a ton of time.. All you need to do is drill a round hole, slip in insert and tighten. They are waterproof and when tight hold a lot better than the ones Safari sends you..

I don't know of any fancy fastners stores around here. I can check lowes, but their like 40 min away. Otherwise I'm getting some sheet metal screws with silicone.

Hey I won't be the only one who is snorkeled. Besides I get the feeling this is something your going to do too.

Ask a construction worker/person or try the yellow pages. Every town has one hidden away somewhere, you just have to find it. Again, folks who are in construction will know where one is cause HD and Lowe's suck when it comes to getting real bolts/nuts/fasteners etc.

Sorry, kinda late in reply. I got mine at Aubuchon. Also try auto body supply stores. They are called "well nuts"
