Newb Here, pics of my modded 97 sr5 4x4 (more pics)
Hi, Ive been watching these forums for several months now, and tonight I figured I would sign up and share my newly modified 4runner.
Right now it has:
toytec lift (toytec coils, and OME shocks) just over 3 inches
diff. drop
Glassworks Unlmtd PreRunner Flares (4.5" wider, 3" rise)
Custom front and rear steel bumpers, coated in line-x
Hella FF1000s
Cooper STT 33x12.5s
Rock Crawler steel 15x8s.
And some small cosmetics
Im putting a winch in that gab soon (smaller hellas will have to go in) and a bunch of other mods to.
I just got it back 2 days ago so no wheelin' pics yet, but Im going to Reiter next weekend hopefully

thanks for the compliments.
Scuba - it has the stock 3rd gen sr5 engine: 3.4L. The tran is auto - I tried to find a 5spd and its really hard! I found one after I bought mine and it was 3k more than I paid

Nice looking rig!
Funny thing...........I've always steered clear of changing my runner from a stock look because of the resale value but................
after seeing how runner values have tanked, I'm ready to black out rims and do some herculining to the bumpers.

So i put some extra pics at the top, one of the rear bumper. Im trying to get to the mountins next weekend so Ill share some photos if I do!
About the bumpers: Sounds like ppl approve of my front bumper They were made by a friend of a friend, Perkins Performance. 'took him a couple days for fitting and prep, and then he banged them out pretty fast. He was able to make the back and have the front welded (it was tacked previously) in like a day.
Boostin00, I am really interested in getting the TRD S/C . What did you pay for the install or was it DIY? Also what are your thoughts on it? like torque-wise, realiablilty, extra wear on other parts, etc.
