New Vibration's

The original problem was my usual steering wheel shake and vibration over 55mph suddenly went to s*** after rotating my tires and lubing the underneath of truck. When driving of 70 mph the dash and wheels felt like they where going to leave the 4runner sitting still as they exited the vehicle. Did some research and checked the usual suspects, found some really worn rack bushings, re-balanced the tiresand even replaced the extremely worn struts. Did have a slight bit of play and I mean a slight amount when checking the tire rods with the truck off the ground and grabing the tires.

Now the steering wheel shake and vibration is virtually gone, except it comes back with a vegance around 65mph+ only while making any turns on the highway no matter how slight the curve may be. Also last friday the inner cv boot on the driver side just exploded. So I just installed a new cv axel and glad I did since after removing the old one and finding it was in pretty bad shape.

Any ideas to what could be the cause of the heavy steering wheel shake and vibration over 65mph+ while turning on the highway? Have not tested the truck since replacing the cv axel yesterday morning.

Tire unbalanced, out of round. Bent rim, I would suspect tires or rims since it worsened after rotation, when you turn on the freeway more weight shifts to a bad tire, rim. Just a thought.

Not knowing the condition of your tires:dunno: I'm gonna x2 on the tires, a belt separation could cause this.

Could be worn lower control arm bushings. How does it handle when braking at highway speeds?

Vibrations could be coming from a bad wheel bearing. Any grinding or unusual noises along with the vibration?
