New radiator...Still need external tranny cooler??
 

Just installed a new radiator on my 1999 4runner. It has 189XXX miles on it. No signs off any problems with the fluids mixing and starting the "milkshake". My question is, with a new radiator installed, how worried should I be about the milkshake happening to me? I would like to eventually do it when money and time permits, but i figured with a brand new radiator my chances of it happening are slim. Any input is appreciated.

ata 0311 - Just from my experience I would say to keep an eye on your water pump , mine started weeping and that is a tell tell sign that the pump is going . and so I didnt change it in time and got milkshake ran out of water , or low enough :alert:

You should be fine for years. How many years???
