Under $70? I say get the best the parts house can offer you. I can also suggest speding closer to $100 and getting an Optima Red Top.

you can get an interstate for that price that will last and perform a lot better than one of thoes genaric ones. I personally coughed up the 100 bones for the optima as gapguy sugested.

Yeah, Optima blue top here. Are you running any special accessories?

Chapman88SR5 10-17-2004 12:17 PM

nope, in the future i want a mild sound system and maybe some lights

Just get a good Interstate. While Optima's are nice, I don't think they're necessary if you aren't running tons o' crap.

Yeah, if you aren't going to run a bunch of stuff just get a normal battery. I got a new battery for my car from O'Reillys and it has a 2 year free replacement. The guy that sold it to me said just bring it back for a new one in about 23 months even if there is nothing wrong with it, they will exchange it for free.

Me too. I'm going on 3 years or so now. Still cranks as good as the day I bought it.
