my 97 4runner needs freshened up a little
i have a 1997 runner sr5 with the black plastic molding on it. its starting to look grey now, and so do the bumpers. how anyone used anything to make those look black like origional, because i don't like the faded look. my center caps on my factory wheels are also fading really bad. i don't know if i just need to powder coat the wheels black along with the center caps. any suggestions?

rino line the plastic molding, it looks great imo. On the center caps, go look at a junk yard, powder coat, or look into new wheels.
Also if you want any help or want to go wheeling i just moved up to rexburg actually

Go get some Mother's "Back to Black", it will make the plastic look like new again. It only lasts a week or two though. Or you can use tire shine, but it makes everything greasy looking. Most of the paint had come off of my center caps and they looked terrible. I took them off, lightly sanded them and painted them with aluminum wheel paint. Put on about 2 coats of clear and they shine like new again.
