MAF sensor interchange?? 3.4
 

:con: Does anyone know if you can swap the MAF sensor of the 1997 to the style of the 2000

The 97 being the one that goes in the intake pipe and bolts to the air filter box

The Air filter Box is broken and it seems the sensor broke when it fell out as it no longer works. The salt spray in the engine compartment did not help the sensor I am sure.

I have a new sensor for the 2000 and a good air filter housing .

With the Electrical diagrams manual out of stock at Helm Inc I can`t see just what all would need to be changed.
