lubricating the tailgate hinges

Happy holidays!

the tailgate has been squeaking and I would like to lubricate it. I couldn't find a hole to where I can pour some oil.

Has anyone done it before?

You'll have to disassemble the struts to lube the bushes. The tail gate is very very heavy. Probably the top bushes are gone, and you'll need to replace them with a nylon bush.

I just spray them once in a while with Kroil when I am in the mood to do these kinds of things.
