Light set up on hood

Has anyone tried doing this or know someone who has. Puting off road lights infront of the windsheild in teh area between teh hood and the glass. Kinda like how jeeps have theirs on the sides of the windsheild. Here's a link of a guy in a 1st gen who did it and i'm thinking about doing it too. Does anyone see any problems with this kinda set up or no? The only thiank i can think of is not being able to open the hood up all the way but i don't think this is a problem b/c i don't think they will get in teh way.
Any input is welcome.
Thanks, Alan

yeah that looks pretty cool, i've often thought about trying to make a braket and doing it like the jeeps on the side of the windsheild, but i think i like this a little bit better, now i just need to get out of debt, get my lift and buy some lights!

Alan (HaveBlue) has done just this on his 3rd Gen. Check out his web page under his profile and you can see his light set up.

The hood blocks the light from going down. It's great for illuminating trees and bushes and the tops of tall rocks, but not for looking at the ground.
