Installed my ome 891's and Saw's finally...

hi all, i finished installing my ome 891's and Saw's and man - thats how the 4Runner should look from the factory. I do however need to get that adjustable bar for the rear - forget the name off hand. Anyway, the ome 891's are stiff, but thats okay for me cause this 4Runner is going to live its life out in cabo san lucas and frequently loaded with camping gear and boat towing - feels tight and very nice tho. The saws up front soak all the bumps very nicely.

I also made a custom roof basket thats 4' wide by 7' long that holds 2 scepter fuel cans, my EEZI Awn roof tent, has 4 -100w long range lights for midnight baja desert cruising, and surfboards as well. Got that powder coated gloss black and looks great.

Also bought a limited slip for the rear from downey (the Tochigi Fugi Japaneese unit originally made for the 4Runner) and it hooks up just as well as my locker in my tacoma did. no chattering or funny feeling at all.

Interior - i added a 10" sub in a the Q-logic box made for the 4Runner that fits in that cubby hole in the rear right side of trunk area, mated to an alpine v12 4channel amp, new alpine head unit with SIRIUS and Ipod connection / control, and all new door speakers - components for the front and regulars for the rear - and it THUMPS clean. Very happy with that. And also, since i didnt have time to install all the interior electronics myself - i took it to best buy and for $220 they installed everything and a very clean install they did. Would reccomend them to anyone for car audio install.

Other than that, at 155k miles, it was time for new clutch, brakes all around, timing belt-wat pump, coolant flush, thermostat, fan clutch, coils and ignition wires, plugs, all filters, hoses, belts, and whatever else could be replaced so i can get another 155k miles outta this 4runner problem free. Gotta love Toyota!

Ill post pics tonight for all to see.
