Installed '05 Tacoma "TRD" Decals to my '02 4Runner *PICS*
I've put the more common '00 Tacoma "TRD Off Road" decals on previous 4Runners before, so I thought, now that I've got a newer 4R, why not put newer decals on it. So I got the new 2005 Tacoma "TRD Off Road" decals and put them on there this past weekend. I think they look good on there...let me know what you think.
(I've got a "hook-up" that works in the parts dept at my local Toy dealer, so for the price on these, I couldn't resist. A friend at the dealer is always nice to have! )

Looks sweet and I have the same pair in the Sport version (silver/red) but I'm waiting til I tire of my previous gen Sport stickers which might be soon. I got 'em off ebay for $25 shipped before Toyota forced them off of there. He had like 8 different colors plus designs like camo and USA flag design.

Thanks!
Toyota offers a couple different color combos depending on the color of the Tacoma. I opted for these since that was what was on the silver tacomas.
I wanted to get the Tacoma Decals that read "Sport" instead of "Off Road" under the word TRD, (being that I have a Sport model) but those cost around $90 for the pair! (My contact person could not explain this.)
The ones I have instead cost around $50 for the pair from Toyota, but I think I paid only $35.

ive never had one of these stickers....but im curious as to how you open your gas tank? is it one big sticker, or just a bunch of letters?
looks real good though, i definately like the newer stickers. i think i might have to snag a pair.

There's a chance I could get a few more sets (no more than 5, they might start to think I have a business on the side), but I'd really have to look into it and see. I'm gonna say "no", but let me find out first and I'll let you know. Just don't want to get your hopes up yet.

I've seen other guys put them below the tank flap, but to me it just doesn't look right being that low on the truck.

I think you can still email the guy from streetgraphics and still get custom ones for about $20 a pair. The dealership quoted me $100 a pair a couple of years ago. The real ones are a bit nicer but for the cost I can buy 5 pairs of the "faux" stickers.

The real ones are better quality and will last the life of the truck but the fake ones installed correctly will last a while. If I was rich I'd buy real ones.

You can still get the ones from Streetgraphics.net He's just not allowed to list them on his site anymore. Shoot him an email and he'll send you all of the different combinations and color schemes that he has. BTW....his stuff is really good and only like $25/pair, quite a bit better than the stealer.

He said when he last ordered a few sets, they sent him an extra set of these decals. He said for safety sake (his job security), he still had to sell it, however it could be any price he set. So that's how I got them for that price. Sorry!
