indiglo guages

I just installed my indiglo guages... I used Bobs write up in the tech section... "great info there" they work great and where very simple to install. I ordered them from ebay.. $31.00 shipped to the door!!!! what a bargain

here are some pics...

yeah they do dim.. I barely have them on, about 1/4 of the way up... they are bright taking some getn used to...but I like them a whole lot better than the stock setup..

Looks nice. Though I'm planning on making PCBs to fit behind the stock gauges and using SMD led's to light it up. I'm gonna redo all the light in my truck to LED (custom boards and whatnot).. here's a preview of a board I'm designing for superflux 4 pin leds for my taillights (a few of these boards per taillight)... It has been revised since this was saved. I enlarged some of the main traces so they were wider. Sorry to hijack... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...rd_Revised.jpg

I just do it as a hobby. I am really aspiring to be an engineer. I still have a lot to learn though... pcb's (printed circuit boards) are easier to design on one layer.... now when you get to multiple layer pcb's... that's pretty crazy. heh heh
