If you're thinking of removing your 2nd gen front valance...
...this is what it looks like:
I got tired of looking at my banged up one, so I ripped it off.
Looks alot meaner now IMO.
What do you think?

The shelves are a bit cluttered.
I'm still moving all my junk in, only been using my garage for a couple of weeks now, and the floor is freshly painted
MUCHHHHH better than using my driveway.

I also took mine off, after scratching the hell out of it over the last year. I was able to sell the fog lights for $265 by themselves, which makes me kick myself for not taking the whole bumper off and selling it sooner. I probably could have made enough for a TJM no problem, no chance now with all the scratches on the bottom. It looks similar to the second gen w/the valence off, definitely a meaner look.

Looks much better.
When i fixed my 94 i got a used bumper from a yard and decided to get a 91 for this very reason (ok i accidently got the 91 bumper then realized it was different) "doh!".
But when I started looking at it before the install I realized this would be way better especially w/o the valence.
I'll try and post a pic.

My valance has been gone for years, and I eventually got tired of "looking at my banged up" bumper.
Here it is after a few minutes with the sawzall.

Looks Good
My thought was to leave it on but to trim it down.
Make it so its not so low in front of the tires and let it curve curve down to the skid plate.
It would make the bumper/valance not look so tall but also make the skid plate look longer.
hard to describe without pics, If I do it will will post the pics....
