Headlight Size

i did a search and couldnt find what i wanted....

my curretn headlights dont seam bright enough... not even sure what model they are, but they are sealed beams... its a 85 pickup 4x2....

i want to get universal HID style lights but am unsure of the measurements... what are they?

I'm pretty sure the sealed beam model you're looking for is H5054.

If you're open to other options, do a search for Daniel Stern. He can sell you Hella eCode housings that'll take replacement bulbs, which are much better (and brighter).

actually, i was looking at the universal replacement types.... like the ones offered on ebay and such... not sure on the demensions though... like are they 5"x7"
6"x8"
4"x6" or what?

Oops, I meant H6054.

I don't know exactly what size though.

Here's the website I was talking about:

ok cool... so it is the h6054

this is what i was refering to, ones like this http://www.procarparts.com/store-lis...del=HEADLIGHTS

Looks like they're 7x6. Cool.

That site you listed had some pretty good prices, but I don't think your light output would be too great.

If you use the guy I referred above, Daniel Stern, he'll show you exactly what you need. Quite a few members here have used him with nothing but praise coming from their experiences. He's a very knowledgable guy who's willing to answer any questions you have.
