Got My Auto Trans Cooler Installed! Tell Me What You Think

I just got my cooler in. I decided to put it in above the front skid plate hanging with some aluminum bar screwed into the radiator support. I noticed that half of the cooler would not have alot of aiflow going to it so i got the DREMEL out and a torch and cut 4 extra slits in the skid plate then I spray painted it. If you look close then you might be able to tell but it looks very good and not noticable at all. Looks like TOYOTA did it. Tell me what you think. Here are some pics.

I'd put some form of electric fan behind it. I had a similarly mounted cooler on my truck for a while. It didn't cool as effectively as I thought it would until I put a 10" fan behind it.

How much was that? I'd like to do that on mine. :nerd:

I got my cooler on Ebay for $27.00 shipped. It is an accucool rated at 22,000-24,000 lbs. I wanted a cooler to just cool the tranny a little while offroad mostly in sand and while pulling my bass boat.

Can you get those same type of coolers at Autozone, Checkers and Pep Boys?

Where'd you get the fan? I was thinking of doing the same, but never got around to adding it.

Parts stores should have them. If not, I have one I'm not using anymore.
