Got my ARB Bull Bar installed finally (Pix)
Well, its only been 4 years... since I've gone crazy for an ARB bar. Finally got one... now, I just hope its not another 4 to get a winch.
I'm having some interference issues with the grill. I think I may take it off and make some notches, so I can eliminate the gap. I still have about 1/2" of room on the holes so I can snug it up a little closer......
I sanded and repainted it flat black. The paint was pretty rough when I got it.
Modification to fit the 4runner was somewhat easy. I had to sawzall the ends off the frame rails and drill two 1/2" holes for the 3rd bolt (on each frame rail). When I get some time I'll end up boxing the end, but, since I don't have a winch I think it will be fine.
These pictures also show after I've dropped the body lift (so happy about that... heh)... Sliders are getting re-worked at the moment...
Side angle...little lower on this side right now

I want one...that looks killer! I would send mine out for custom black powder coating...ARB factory stuff isn't shiny enough for me. Its soo hard to get that stuff in Canada....my friend had to send a lady to border to get his :sigh: Definitely need one of those....took out a deer 2 years ago and it caused 5G's $$ damage to my front end....if I was ARB secured...that deer would of just gone under the truck.

Thanks, never thought about the fender crushing issue... I may keep the gap at about 1/2" then on both sides. The passenger side needs a little adjustment.
The bumper cost me $300 but i needed to buy a new frame mount...
If you could believe it... this bumper was involved in a high speed (65mph) accident into the center divide... hehe.

Looks to be in great condition, even with the accident. Thats a great price since i've seen them online for like a 1k.
A winch should take no time to save for, especially with that staring at you! i can hear it saying "where's my winch?"
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea you definitely don't want it too close to your fenders. You shouldn't need to notch the grill at all if it's properly spaced down. On my tacoma it tended to rub the paint off of the fenders as well as bang around offroad. I haven't had problems with my 4runner yet. Lookin good! The rig does look much more proportional minus the body lift. I'm tempted to pull the trigger on a tuff country 5"..

Yep that is my other love.
She is getting new brakes and new steering this week, so I'm very happy about that... Just gonna have to get dirty and start wrenching! After that, I feel sort of comfortable about driving it to the desert... I cant wait!.
