Got my 33 MTR Installed

I got pics now!

But I just wanted to say I put on about 250 miles or so and wow! We've had some pretty bad weather around these areas and these tires are amazing. The ride is so much more smoother than my 31 BFG AT. My gf likes these tires much more, she say's it seems like the suspension stiffened up with them and she felt much more confident at highway speeds.

Compared to the BFG AT it is hands down a much better tire for me. It might be slightly slightly louder on the road but that's a small price to pay for the performance these offer. I tested it in deep snow in 2 wheel drive through my brothers unplowed driveway with the AT and the MTR. I was able to make it through with both but it was rather difficult with the BFG however the MTR made it thru with ease. Also the breaking and take off grip in slushy conditions is much better. I am pleased with these tires so far, even though it is a bit early to start talking about them I have a good feeling.

As much as I hate to ruin the stoke, don't expect them to perform well in shallow/packed snow. Just a fair warning before you (or your girlfriend) get in trouble due to overconfidence.

I apologize for the delay it's just that I felt the stock wheels didn't do the tires justice! So now problem solved and I finally got the pics

Also New seat covers

x2 on the shallow packed snow, MT's get a little squirrelly on ice and packed. but mud and off road they shine. and digging those seat covers they look like they belong on there wayyy better than the ones i have on!

I'm afraid to ask but... How much were those seat covers? And where did they come from?

Thanks for all the comments! Keep em coming

Lift - OME 882/890 Not sure on the lift since I can't do an alignment until I get my inner tie rods replaced. I expect the front end to come down a bit since my toe is off quite a bit and once the coils settle a bit.

Tires/Wheels - Are 285/75/16 Goodyear MTR wrapped over some Mickey Thompson Classic ii

Seat Covers - Are Wet Okole. I was able to buy them thru a group buy that some Tacoma guys were having so I got them shipped for I believe right under 400 bucks.

I put a set of 35" MTRs on my 80 series Land Cruiser, and they were very squirrelly in the snow. I decided to have Discount Tire sipe them and they are now by far the BEST tires I ever had in Chicago's crappy icy snowy conditions. I couldn't get the tires to break free at all this past winter. For $10 a tire its definitely worth it.

so you heard about all the stuff I went thru! I got a new wheel for free and now I just got to get the rest of junk under there figured out before the trip

chitown I think I will sipe my BFG MT come winter but not so sure about the MTR. I guess I'll see how they do next winter and go from there. Nice 80 you got there, I think that or a 40 is going to be me my next toy
