Good News!!

Well, as some of you know, I got in a little accident with a fire hydrant about 2 months ago. I got an estimate from Maaco for $250 for the repairs. I took the truck into today and...

(Note: I had my truck painted about a year ago at this same Maaco.)

The manager asked me where I had gotten my paint job.

I said, "Here at Maaco, about a year ago."

The manager said, "Ah, that was when ***** was the manager here..."

The manager said, "We can do better than that."

My truck has serveral dents, dings, paint runs, and other imperfections that are quite noticable on my black pickup.

The manager then agreed to go over my truck to find and correct all the imperfections, repair the damge, and respray the entire truck! But here's the kicker - the repair estimate was $250. The final charge for the repair, dents/ding removal, and "4 year Maaco paint" was $350!!

He showed me two other trucks he was working on, and they looked clean!

I'm not sure how he was able to make this deal. I'm guessing he's warranting the job with Maaco. Any hoo, I'm a happy camper. I'll get the truck back in about 2 weeks. :D
