Which Fuse Is The EFI Fuse?
I had to have my O2 sensor replaced on my 1988 Toyota 4-wheel drive truck recently. Ever since I have the check engine light on. I pulled the code, and it says it's the O2 sensor. I read on this forum that I can pull the EFI fuse to disable the CEL. But, which fuse is it? Can any of you experts tell me which one it is?
I pulled the negative cable to my battery for 30 minutes, but the CEL is still on. Thanks for your suggestions, Robert |
There should be a fuse layout chart on the underside of the fuse cover. Typically efi fuses are usally 15amp or 20amp fuses.

And it's typically labeled EFI... It may be in the fuse box under your hood. |
i had the dealer replace mine also under warranty and the light still goes off and on. is this really something wrong with the ecu not being reset or is there still a problem?

ok i pulled the efi fuse ... disconnected the battery and stepped on the brakes and i still get the code. going back and dealing with management at the dealership is the last thing i want to do.
