Finally ordered my OME lift kit

Well, I finally took the plunge and order my OME suspension today! I went with the 883s/890s from toytec.com. I chose the 883s because I have an ARB bullbar, but no winch...yet.
If I already had a winch I would have gone with the 882s, but the 883s are better for my setup now. The guys at toytec also said the 883s will still be fine with a winch (may even be a little better since I'm told the 883s are less prone to sagging than the 882s).
For the shocks, I went with the OME N91SC and N86C comforts. I also paid the extra $100 to have them assemble the front struts with Toyota top plates so I can just R&R the whole strut instead of having to compress the springs and all that. Call me lazy, but I think it's worth $100 to not have to deal with it. I remember when I installed my crappy Daystar spacer lift (which is totally sagging now) the hardest and most time consuming part of the job was assembling the struts.
I can't wait!!!!!

I don't think the 891's would be all that much stiffer than the 890's, so I personally wouldn't mind having them on my DD rig, though i'm sure some would disagree.

FYI - to put the coils/shocks back to together, it is worth having a shop do it for you. I did mine at a local Subaru dealer where my buddy is the Service manager. That wall mounted unit is awesome - took me all of 5 minutes a piece - and that was with reading the directions on the wall. The can't charge you too much to do them at a local garage - $50 max. That sure as hell beat doing it by hand...

so finally found the time today and gathered up a couple buddies to put my lift on. I've gotta say it looks real nice. Pretty bouncy though, I'm hoping the springs settling will reduce this. I'll take some pics tomorrow. We started late and didnt get done till dark. Still need to get my diff drop put on so I'm hoping to do that tomorrow as well.

well, I dont have time to get it on today.. I might after work depending how early I get off tonight. My cv's are already throwin a little grease. The angle is way bad and Im trying to drive as less as I can. My front is waaaayyyyy bouncy, really bad too. What is causing this?

JWaldz - What do you mean "bouncy"? Like are you launching over speedbumps or just stiffer than stock?
I jumped on the bandwagon too...
I bought the SS economy kit for the front and OME 890s with N86s and 10mm spacers for the rear. I hope it all gets here around this week.
I have a Revtek spacer lift now, anything I should keep/reuse from it?

I still got about 2.5" of lift out of the 883s w/ the bumper.

That's your problem. Lower em, 1.5" will make a huge difference on your CV axles and I would bet your ride will improve too. The 883s aren't really meant to be used w/ a spacer (or in this case an adjustable strut/shock). From your pics, you could definitely stand to drop the front a bit. It's good to have a little rake.
