I can't wait to start buying the fun stuff! Although, it may take a while considering I'll be going to college soon. Oh well, I'll have enough fun with her with the stock setup

If the fogs are not broken already, I would put some kind of film on them (such as www.lamin-x.com), because they will more than likely break and they're pretty pricey.

The California Kid Jun 24, 2009 02:57 PM

I think the passenger side fog doesn't work, but I'm not sure if it's because it's cracked, or the bulb is out.

that's a looker. Nice toy

you own my dream car. i just got the same model, but in silver. i wanted black so badly, but oh well...

what i am trying to figure out what the purpose of the black metal plate on the upper rear window is? the one going over the upper brake light...

also, when you open the moon roof and drive with it on the highway, there is this plastic thingy going up on the front of the roof, looks like it's supposed to do sth. with the wind, but it scares the heck out of me, as it sounds AND feels like it's going to fly away if i don't hold it!!! did you notice that?

just asking 'coz you got the same model as me :banger:

I think the plate your talking about is the rear spoiler. as far as i know it really only helps keep your back window a little cleaner and dust free by deflecting the wind or something.

as for the plastic thing near the sunroof, it could be the weather stripping from the sunroof wind deflector. mine came loose and would slap up and down on the roof at speed.

Nice runner, love those 5 spoke wheels.

annanina Jun 24, 2009 04:24 PM

Hm, not sure if it's the sunroof wind deflector. I did a Google search, and what I mean is the thing that goes up a little when you actually open the roof. It's NOT installed outside. I can push it down with my hand.

Maybe I should open a new thread for those questions ;-)

Thanks!

4runnit Jun 24, 2009 04:32 PM

ohhh i gotcha now. i mustve misread that. im not really sure what thats for now that i think of it

annanina Jun 24, 2009 04:35 PM

thanks for making me aware of those wind deflectors though, that might be just what i need to not be scared anymore...

The California Kid Jun 24, 2009 05:49 PM

The only thing I wish it had (besides the 5 speed trans) is the locking center differential.
