Final Update (Must Read)

I am back in Wisconsin and so is my rig. It spanked this weekend on the road and on the trails. I will have some cool pics and threads in the next day or so outlining the whole operation.

Here is a hint about what happened. Take a look at this pics and see if anything looks familiar?

Everything is finally holding the correct volume of the correct lubricant and the project is 98% complete.

The moral of the story is do business with ORS. They drove to Wisconsin to get my rig at no cost to me, covered my plane tickets to get home when the rig was not done on time and bent over backwards to get it done for CO4RJ. A complete outline will follow after I sleep a while.

I cant wait till I see more pictures. I havent been keeping up with what you have been doing but am looking forward to hearing and seeing results. Everytime I think I am out of the trap, someone sucks me back in. You have done it again.

Seeing Adrian's truck make it to the CO4RJ was one of the highlights of my trip. The line he spanked on "Yoder Rock" was awesome. I'm sure some pics will circulate soon.

That's good to hear Adrian. I look forward to seeing the beast in action at Moab.

Good stuff, Adrian. I just found this after reading your thread in the Vendor Feedback section. Glad to hear they did everything to make it right. Is it now appropirate for questions? How do you like everything? How is the 3.4 w/ 5.29s? Are the highway RPMs o.k.? Enquiring minds... :hillbill:

It was nice to meet you and to also visit ORS. My wife is doing very well and we are hopefully going home tomorrow.

Hope to do some 4wheeling with you sometime.
Steve

Read the thread in vendor feedback too, and have to say I'm impressed. Both with your patience, and the service you received. They easily had a dozen chances to drop the ball & end up another monster thread like we've seen before, but the steps they took are unheard of, as far as I know. Now you have a one of a kind rig, and they have the word of mouth that will keep them way tooo busy.

Jayson, in a word it is awesome.

Mileage is 2 or so better all around and the power on the highway is amazing. I can actually gain speed up hill, every little bump does not kick me out of cruise control and I was doing the speed limit in the mountains.

My tach does not work, they need to add a resistor in the gauge to make it work, but that is only a little while off.

Mike was committed to making this project and all projects right. Go in with high expectations, tell them what they are, and they will be met.

I have the thread in the vendor section with a pretty solid outline of things. I will post the cool engine compartment pic in a couple days when I get away from dial-up.

sgirt, glad to hear your wife is well, it was curious the people I met sitting at the shop on Thursday.
