Early 90s Toy truck and 4runner alignment questions?
I have two questions:
I need to get my 01 4runner aligned. Is there any way to do it at home, or should I just take it in and get it done?
Im thinking about selling my fiance's 93 corolla and looking for an early 90s Toyota truck - any suggestions? My current thoughts are ext cab 4x4, and probably 4cyl, unless the 3.0 is better, but I have been searching/reading and it seems most people actually favor the 4cyl over the v6. Any particular years to stay away from, or to look specifically for? Thanks

I get lifetime alignments at firestone, you might look around for one of those. You can pay a one time fee of $130, and then after about 3 aligments it pays for itself, and the rest of the alinments are free!

It doesn't require any kind of hydraulic lifts. It requires a method for measuring the things on the spec sheet, caster, camber, steering axis inclination, thrust angle, dogtracking, and is the beer holder level. That equipment does cost a bit of money. The tools to actually adjust it are just wrenches like any of us own.
Alignments are cheap. Pay to have it done at a good shop.
