Do 2nd Gens and 3rd gens use the same Key Blanks?
Does anyone know if Toyota has been using the same Key Blanks from 90-2000? As long as you don't have the Transponder chip?
I want to get this Key Blank, but I am not sure if it will work in my 1996 Limited 4runner.
thanks guys

They are different, Toyota changed all of their keys in the early/mid 1990's
For example the Camry changed their keys to the newer style in 1992
The Celica changed their keys to the new style in 1994
I am pretty sure that the 4Runner changed when they redesigned it in 1996.
The older keys are thinner and wider.
