Did the Stereo Mod this weekend . . .

I had one of these installed this weekend. Pioneer DEH-P3500.
First Impressions: Thumbs down. The removable face sticks out quite a bit, so the deck doesnt (visually) fit well in the dash. Plus, it just seems that it is less user friendly than all the Kenwoods I've bought in the past. Poor radio reception on some channels the factory picked up well. I wonder if Circuit City will uninstall this thing and trade me for a Kenwood 322? At least I got a good deal on it. |
Got a pic of the install?
I did a removable face unit in mine a while back and I modified where the side brackets mounted into the headunit so mine sits back in flush. I removed the trimring off of the unit around the detachable face, so it fits in the dash trim much better. http://pics.montypics.com/cebulak/20...1/mvc_690f.jpg |

No, no pics yet. Im trying to acquire a patch cord to get my digi-cam to plug into the PC, but no luck yet.
If I can get one, I'll be sure to post it. |
