Dash Lights Coming On, Headlights Going Out?

The other day my ABS light came on, followed by my battery light, followed by the Airbag light. They all went off within 20 minutes.

I took it to the Toyota Dealership, had the timing belt replaced (I was already planning this), and they said everything looked good and was working.

This morning both of my headlights were burnt out, and so was 1 side lamp (all of which were in working order yesterday). I took it back to the Dealership, they told me the three lights probably coincidently burnt out all at once (yeah-right).

My battery light came on again, and my ABS light briefly today. Also, I had the heater on this morning and it started blowing like crazy all of a sudden, like the fan surged?

Any idea what is making my 4runner go nuts? My first thought is maybe I need a new battery, it is at least 4 years old.

Have the alternator checked. A failing one often causes all of those issues.
