coilover spacer question?

on a 2000 prerunner could tou run a coilover with a spring spacer on top for a little xtra lift and just not have the coilover cranked up all the way?

to run a top out spacer on a regular style strut you have to install longer studs to the top plate. I don't know if the 3 studs one the top of the coilover is long enough to run a spacer.
