hey guys, was wondering if anyone knows if there is a retailer which sells a chrome rear license base plate for 4 runners (3rd gen) and not the license plate frame. this is what the rear license plate rests on, with the key hole for rear window. looks fresh, wondering where i can get one, seen a few around san francisco. thanks, dirk

 

I think they were available as a chrome package for the '01-'02 4Runners. I am pretty sure you can get the chrome piece you want separately but expect to pay big bucks for it.

 

Dealers will have it. Its part of the '02 chrome package. I paid about $120.00.
