Check engine light on
 

My check engine light started coming on about a week ago, so I took it to a shop that specializes in Toyota/Lexus, and they told me that my speed sensor and starter sencor are causing it to come on.

Now is there anything I can do myself so I don't have to pay them to diagnose it for me, because the truck starts fine, and drives fine.

I need to save cash since I'm only $400 away from completing my stereo ($1000 in so far)

hi! i had my check engine light come on a few months back. ppl here directed me to this link to self diagnose the problem. it pointed me in the right direction and gave me an idea what the problem was.
