Can some one tell why we can't get our hands on these??

I saw these Flares, and thought...How Perfect!
Why couldn't we order these from Japan or something.
When I had my RX-7 we could order rear seats from Japan (2+2 version seats)
Why couldn't we get these? Then we wouldn't need to jack with the mud flaps or anything.
I'm sure some one will come up with a logic explanation.

I want that rear spoiler with 3rd brake light on the blue Hilux. I've only seen those for 2nd generations.

They look very simular to a bushwacker flare, My bushwackers wrap around the rear chrome bumber were as those stop short of it. I'm more interested in the running board end caps they look a lot better then the taco end cap mod the the stock 4runner running boards. With that in mind has any one tried the end caps from a third gen? just a thought.

I was actually looking into this option last winter. I can't remember who from the ODW forum, but they had the Canadian version with the flares, flaps, and side cladding. I'm actually now more interested in the integrated flaps....Anyhow I was hoping that w/ the exchange rates, I could get these additions at a reasonable price.....I called around to a couple of BC Toyota dealers for some quotes....they all quoted me close to $1000 USD. They said that the reason for this was to prevent owners from retrofitting their 4Runners with these premium options....when they didn't pay for the premium package. With this knowledge, I opted to go for the Bushwackers. I haven't been disappointed...I am still looking for a good set of flaps front and back to match the flares.

Hope this helps

Well it's true. That's exactly what we want to do, but come on...We didn't even get that option. I wonder what the used market is like up there.

Tails

I have the Bushwackers and am happy with them. What I want are the tail lights with the additional reverse lights!

UK - come across any of those tails over there?

They're also Toyota factory Oz flares that came standard on about 93 SR5's. But wreckers want way too much for them.

I have them on my 4Runner.
Factory Flares

I've also seen a few of those spoilers and wheel frames in our wreckers as they were on imported Surfs.
