Can power Antenna be fixed?

My power antenna motor seems to work well makes noise for several seconds when i start up, but the antenna does not move. Is this a fixable situation?

yep - just need a new mast. It's a fairly common failure.

you have two options:

1) replace the mast like jackson said
2) replace entire unit w/ non-motorized one. look in the tech section for the "tacoma whip" writeup

Ditto, most likely a broken mast.
You will need to pull the antenna assy to remove the broken part of the mast.
Once you do that you can reinstall the antenna assy, feed in the new mast and you are done.

You unscrew the inner fenderwell and it gives you access to remove the antenna assy.
Then taking apart the antenna and removing the broken mast is pretty self explanitory once you see it.

Mine worked great until i had my Eclipse Deck installed. Now it doesn't even try to come up. I'm gonna have to take it back in. I'm sure that the installers messed it up or forgot it.

or, you can remove the top nut around your mast on the fender, and turn on the radio. The mast will come out, then put the new one in place, and turn the radio off, and this will pull in the antenna.

Option 3 - do nothing. Mine broke. I leave it at about 5". I still get good reception, doesn't cause problems offroad or in the carwash. Getting in there to fix it is a pain and costs money I would rather spend elsewhere. Just wanted to throw that out there.
