Bushwackers

Since it was above 32 today for the first time all week, I decided I would put on my flares. All went well. I missed the first screw adn scratched my paint but i doesnt matter since the flare is over it. I broke a drill bit since I pre drilled the plastic holes. But all in all it took my buddy and I about 45min. We didnt take the wheels off, just jacked the frame up just before the tire would lift and had enough room. Il post pics before the days over.http://pics.montypics.com/eng2ine/20...flares_002.jpg http://pics.montypics.com/eng2ine/20...flares_003.jpg

Cool man. I did the same thing! Scratched my paint once and broke off two drill bits. It was on the back where the factory plastic stone guards are. I was not even putting any pressure and it just snapped the bit like it was nothing. Went and got another and did exactly the same thing! There was a drill bit monster in that hole!

Added some pics. I broke the bit drilling the plastic. I wasnt pre drilling the fenders because i thought it said not to. The screws went right in with some pressure.

Sweet looks good! Corey's, Yours, and My runner are starting to look somewhat alike. Have you driven anywhere yet with the flares? I noticed a bit more road noise. I thought I had my back window at first.. quickly got used it though.

I dont hear any new noises. I did notice a pound of petrified mud and dirt in the bottom of both of my rear mud guards.

The bushwhackers look nice, I've got a pair that I am happy with as well. The stock 2wd's had nothing for flares, so after a lift and tires, I needed some coverage. I am very happy with them. Hope you enjoy them, go out, get them dirty, and have fun.
