BudBuilt Installation Questions HELP ASAP!

so when i ordered my skid and belly plates from bud, he joked about the slightly cryptic installation guide. Well its so cryptic that it must b invisible! im sure it was an honest mistake. now its friday night and im trying to install this beast.

I got the belly plate on when i realized i needed to remove the factory tranfer case "skid" that looks more like tin foil. i see where all the bolts go and they all line up but im trying to figure out if the belly plate goes on first and the skid plate attaches to the bottom of it. this would make sense to me because the skid has to come off for oil changes and the like. but now i need a bolted on right angle piece with 2 holes in it. it looks like they fit over the axle mounts??? im not sure if that is what these bolts r called.

anyway its back to the garage to play with it some more. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you can do either of the skids first, I would make sure the bellyskid is above the regular skid. So when you go over rocks it doesn't get cought while your going forward. Its just a simple bolt on procedure, you don't have to take the skid off to change oil it has a drain hole in it.

For the front skid you just unbolt your factory two piece and, then take the two bolts off of the steering rack, and attach the angular mount then bolt it all together to the stock holes.

I installed my budbuilt the other day, its not bad of a 1 man job if you use your bottle jack to prop it up.

You have the three front bolts, the two in the middle and the two in the back that bolt to the steering rack (the two holes right before it bends up towards the back, about 3/4" high), then you have the two holes to attach to the belly skid.

Hope that helps.

I believe its a 21mm (maybe 22) and a 19mm bolt that are on the bottom of the steering rack, take those two off slide on the angular piece and bolt it on.
