Bleeping radio!
 

Anyone know if there's a way to stop the radio from beeping every time I hit the seek button? If the radio is quiet and my family's sleeping I have to endure that loud beep while surfing for something decent.

Turn the volume down when you seek......

buy a new radio with DVD or something!

What kind of radio is it? the Stock or aftermarket? If its aftermarket there is usually (not in all) have a option to turn off the beep... In a stock... i really dont know much about them but i think there is a way

It's the stock radio/cd player in a '99 limited. It is the same volume no matter what the actual volume is set at while searching.

I don't think you can do anything about it, unless you open up the radio itself. Thats wierd, I don't remember my stock radio beeping in my 2000 limited.
