Which is better?
Which muffler do you think is the best?
Flowmaster = $95.00 50 Series Delta Flow Muffler Stainless Steel 2" Offset Inlet 2" Center Outlet 4" x 9 3/4" x 23" Dynomax = $66.97 Super Turbo Series Muffler Large Diameter Internal Tubes 1 3/4" Offset Inlet 2" Centered Outlet 6" x 18" Round |
Its personal prefrence...
The Master has more of an echo-y sound. The dynomax does not. I love my dynomax! I can't wait to get another one when I re-do my exhaust with something bigger for the S/C. :smokin: |
Ok and for the flowmaster there is another one just like it only its not stainless steel... would u recommend having stainless steal or does it matter? because the other one is cheaper....
|
and also someone told me to get a high-flow cat... would one of these work?

I've had the Dynomax Ultraflow muffler (Stainless steel) on my '97 4Runner for a little over 7 years. It has a nice deep tone (but not loud) at low speeds, but is still quiet at highway speeds.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. |
have you looked into a supertrapp? its a tuneable muffler so you can adjust back pressures, and we now backpressure can translate into low end tourqe. or open it up for low back pressure and more power at higher rpms, check it out
