Anyone ever do this? Lots of new cars have them including our 4Runners. Any good way to remove these warning sticker from the carpeted visors without leaving marks?

When I removed mine I slowly pulled at the corners so it would come off as one piece. After that rubbed Goof Off or Goo Be Gone over the adhesive. Be careful when rubbing so you don't stretch the faberic out.

yea, this isn't about takin off stickers but the opposite..my RRDIF sticker is coming off...do any of you guys still have it on?? i have never used it so i would rather keep it on just in case i get stuck and dont know how to engage...anyone know any good adhesives to keep it in place?? i'd rather not use elmers glue..something thin and sticky...but not permanent?? i may be askin the impossible??

My new Xterra had them when I bought it, and the first thing I did when I got it home was take them off. I just worked on one edge at a time, and slowly peeled it back, didn't leave any marks or residue or anything.

you might try some 3M double sided tape. I have some and its pretty nice stuff. Its very clear, adheres well, and less than a centimeter wide, so it makes some nice thin strips. Just an idea. Peace.

np, i think you'll find it helpfull. I use it alot... not just for mounting stickers and such, but its also alot easier to stick a piece of this stuff on, than to curl the normal tape into a ring. lol. Peace.

Anybody else try it?

My stickers leave all the goo on the visor and it doesn't seem like it will come out without soaking the whole thing in GooGone.

Would the place collect dirt just like carpet that had something sugary spilt on it?

Another idea... somebody on another vehicle forum I read had some stickers made to cover them up because they looked tacky when the visor was down. What about something like that? Something with the Toyota logo or 4Runner would look sharp if you could find a good one...
