BAD MAF SENSOR........sit.........stay!

well.............................................. ..
if anyone has been following my ramblings and request for a light at the end of the tunnel i've been in, you know that i've trying to find the source of a p0171 code that popped up at 90 miles.

well, after changing O2 sensors, fuel filter, tps, plugs, looking at injectors and a mac vac or two i gave up and took it to the dealer this morning.
they diagnosed a MAF sensor that was "going bad". when they told me it was a bad maf i was skeptical, but the guy said if he diagnosed a prob and put parts on that did not fix the prob i wasn't responsible for the labor and they replaced my old parts.
told them to install a new one and low and behold...........IT'S A NEW TRUCK! this thing runs like it was new and i've got no stinkin light lookin at me every morning!!!!!!!
Darn proud to have it fixed and even happier it wasnt a couple of injectors.................lol
thanx to everyone that has replied to my many plea's. they were all very helpful and informative................i've learned a great deal about my rig and i've also learned when i'm beat!

thanx again
brad

Not being one who would stoop so low as to say "I told you so." I won't.

Glad you're fixed!

Peace.
