axle u bolt help

ive got a 95 tacoma that i need new axle u bolts for but upon looking around online i cant really find what size i need. i believe i need 2.5in wide (inside measurement) and about 7-8in long and i was gonna go with 9/16 thick but i was curious what others have used? any luck with the cheap ones from auto zone or advanced? what have others used? im looking for a medium-heavy duty u bolt as i do alot of towing with my truck and will be using them to install timbren load boosters

I get mine from the local spring shop.

I most often keep a few sets

If need be I can measure them.

In your area I bet your going to cut yours off just so much faster.

yes please measure when you get a chance. i was planning on cutting them right off. not worth even trying here lol, damn salt. if it comes down to it ill cut one off for now and take it to the store so i can get the best match. my trucks not on the road right now anyways.

2 5/8" inside This is inside to inside right below the bends.

7 1/2" long I know these are plenty long but make sure you have length for what your adding.

3 1/8" of threads

These are 1/2".

I am always dragging things around.

Having never bought any at Advance or Auto zone not sure if they would even have them.

ok thanks! advance sells them but the reviews online says theyre cheap china junk, a guy on ebay makes custom ones out of grade 8 hardware for 50 bucks but i think i might go over to napa tomorrow and see what they have, id go to my local spring shop but theyre not open saturdays. if worse comes to worst ill say screw it and order them and do it when they come in. just wanted to get it done lol know the dimentsions is half the battle
