auxilary lights wiring question

I just got a set of Piaa 520's fog from Mike and I plan to install tonight. Does anyone have any suggestions on which wire I should tap into to relay the on/off switch and where is the best place to do so? I would prefer an ignition hot wire rather than limiting myself to usage of the Piaa's only when the low beam headlights are on. Thanks!

See my write-up in the Tech section under Electrical.

You CAN have total control over your aux. lights.
No need to wire it the way the light makers want you to.

Tom, everytime I see your avatar I'm thinking it looks so redundant. Just figured out why - this is what I keep seeing.

Where'd that one come from, did you make one earlier? David did the CA one this morning I think.

You are welcome.

You might try the aux. fuse box mod later too if you anticipate tapping into more things.

It sure cleaned up my in cab fuse box, and makes it easier to tap for future mods.

Personally, I like my rendition. It seems to fit the "hello's" I get here in the wonderful city of Houston:
