Anyone need 2001 4runner schematics/wiring/manuals

well i had to pay 25 bucks for this stuff wich is ridiculous so i figured i would offer it up here to people who need it. if there is a high enough demand (5 people is enough for me) i will either post it up or host it as a torrent file. files include service manual, wire diagrams and schematics as well as all of the main circuits. Total size is 7.2mb containing 81 files so let me know if you want it..

that sucks... i have the 21 mb repair manual, 10 mb of wiring, 1 mb of TSB's, 5 mb of tech refs, 30 mb of toyota training info, and all other documentation al in pdf

but I dont have it hosted.... if you could do that a lot of people would be thankful I am sure

I have been searching for someone to host that information for a long time. If you dont get it posted, it might be worth it burning it to a cd and shipping it up here.

Hell yes. We bought an 01 last year and I would LOVE to get this info!

http://techinfo.toyota.com/ as posted before has all the info, for all toyotas, lexi, and scions 1990-up, I paid the 10 fee for a day access, and downloaded over 1,000 pdf's for 99 4runner v6 and 01 tacoma 4cyl, then compiled them into sections... I don't have a place to host them

Except for the fact that you need a US address I would gladly pay the $10

check in customtacos.com there are bunch of FSM on there, not 4runner but close enough.

gregbreakseverything Mar 11, 2007 04:02 PM

Ive been waiting for someone to get it out there for us canadians. That pissed me off that that site wouldnt accept Canadian credit cards.

gilby4runner Mar 11, 2007 04:04 PM

Is there a big difference in an 01 and 02?

ETRNL Mar 11, 2007 05:29 PM

well the stuff i got i paid 25 for a year membership and apparently it wasnt complete.. if everyone has heard of Torrentspy.com i am working on a torrent that i will upload the info i have. and i guess i need to go to techinfo and download that and host it. i personally think it is ridiculous to pay for information on a vehicle you own.. But that is just me i am a hardcore pirate and beleive if you can get/ give for free, why not??

profuse007 Mar 11, 2007 06:23 PM

Guys, make it easy on yourselves and use this: Fully Automatic Factory Service Manual (FSM) Downloading. The first two posts of the thread are the instructions. The downloaders for the 2001 4Runner are in post #3. You still need to spend $10 on a 24-hour TIS subscription but the whole d/l process took me ~30 minutes.

There aren't any differences between 99 and 01, but if you have the year subsciption, It would be awsome if you get make a torrent for the 99 fsm for us canadians.

I just used the link mentioned by Bighead. Worked very well. The gentleman who put it together has done our community a very nice service.

Any US address will do... it doesn't have to be yours. Just look up some business address and use that.
