To anyone with American Racing wheels.

I just found noticed a code stamped onto the backside of my wheels that says:

AR-117 (I assume that's the wheel model)
under that it says
15X8JET-19

I find that odd, because I was sold a 15x7 wheel as far as I know. Maybe it's a coincidence that stamp says 15X8?

Anyone have a similar stamp on their wheels?
I have the baja style.

I should be getting mine in tomorrow, and mine are the baja style as well ... I will check on mine and see what they say .... I'll let you know as soon as I can!

Oooo, I didn't know you have new wheels on the way!
That's going to look awesome!

Just went out and checked mine (I have the AR outlaw II wheels) and it says 16x8J which is the size I have. So it seems that this number is refering to size.

yup, that means it's a 15x8. i think the J or maybe even the whole JET marking specifies the back spacing. i don't know what the code is, but i know i have some wheels that are 15x7J and another set that are 15x7JJ and that has more back spacing. and then i have a set of 15x8JET. i don't know what all of this means, they're just the wheels i have lying around my garage. i bet the -19 mean that it's -19mm offset. but that's just a guess.

"J" and "JJ" refer to the flange type of the lip of the rim. It dictates what color weight to use.
