Another RTT mounting question. Sorry!

1996 SR5.
My CVT RTT is arriving today and am trying to determine if it can be mounted on the stock rails (not the cross bars. Will remove those) Have read as many threads as I can on it and haven't found confirmation on this.

Was going to get the Thule aeroblade load bars, or perhaps another brand, but getting them shipped to me by Friday this time of year is not possible now. 4 wheel parts near me won't have them in stock for 5 days to pick up . I'm in a time crunch needing my tent installed for a Christmas trip.

Any other suggestions or advice is appreciated! Right now I could still get off brand load bars delivered on time from Amazon, but don't trust the reviews.

run a straight edge across your roof between the two rails, i believe the roof has a slight enough arc or rise that would prevent you from being able to mount directly to the rails

I use four Thule flat load bars under mine on the original rails. I started with two, but the roofs on these do not bear much of a load compared to a Land Cruiser and the roof can be dented in from the weight. I have several load bars laying around and the only problem was the cost of the uprights.
