Amazing what a little elbow grease can do

Been scrubbing my wheels all day. Amazing what some good chrome polish will do. Anyways I got around to the back two today because it takes about 1.5 hours a wheel to do. Check out the difference in this pic between the front and back. My wheels are like brand new again I can see myself in them!!

Germany's a nice place to visit but workin this far from home is a rotten deal.:barf: The lengths we go to so we can pay the bills never ceases to amaze me.
my rig is red but now I know what the new decals look like in place.

Hey UK I thought I noticed that! I'm in Mannheim working as a DOD Civilian Contractor as a Helo Mechanic performing Mods and maintaining US Army Blackhawks Appaches and Chinooks. Been Here a bit over 2 years after I got out of the Marines. I miss San Diego and My Carrier Squadron VMFA 323 "Death Rattlers" and My F-18C Hornets!! The Army Helo's REALLY pay the bills though!:fart:

Last years Air!! On man I totally spaced out changing that out!! Is there a write up on how to do that somewhere??? Which gas stations have the best air?? Oh man I can't believe I forgot to do this...........:pat:

seafarinman 05-05-2003 12:02 AM

Man, I am not even running air in mine. I have CO2 in my tires from my Powertank. I had better replace it with some "real" air. :nono:

Joey here's a tip

To save your elbow grease for other things like lifting cold one's. When the wife is not around, I use her B&D ScumBuster with the brush attachment to clean my wheels. The bristles are soft enough to not scracth the finish and it is small enough to get into all of the nooks & crannies. It is a great time and labor saver. Just a thought.
