?? Aftermarket door panels and elbow removal

First I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some aftermarket door panels. The ones I am looking for are just flat panels of sheet metal of some sort. I have seen them somewhere before but can't remember where. Anyone built thier own? Also any other home made upgrade type things would be cool.
Second question is when removing the elbow in the air filter box has anyone had problems with going through puddles or brooks and the water being sucked intot the motor? I'm thinking about doing this but don't want to compromise the engine.

Thanks in advance..Great board here!!!!!

Jason

You gotta get a little mud on the tires

Someone had door panels I think covered in vinyl. Looked like snaps holding it down and overlapped to keep the rain out. I was searching for the pics but can't find em. Looked pretty slick.

Those are not the ones I was speaking of, but I guess kind of close. The vinyl was all back with silver (what looked like) snaps.

After you remove the elbow, use common sense while off-roading and you will be fine. If you plan on doing a lot of stream crossings, then leave it in and do the deckplate mod, which is reversible.

Does anyone have a link to the deckplate mod?
